Donation of Grocery, Toys, Books and Clothes – 2022, 2023 Partner NGOs: Faith Charity Refugee Union Missionaries of Charity – Home of Love Project Description: Distribution of groceries, toys and stationery to ethnic minority communities, refugees and the homeless. Impact The initiative helped support vulnerable communities by providing essential supplies and contributing towards improving the wellbeing of families and individuals facing social and economic challenges.
Art Jam Programme – Hong Kong Partner Organisations: Po Leung Kuk Wing Lung Bank Golden Jubilee Workshop and Hostel (2024 & 2025) Longevity Palace, Homantin (2025) Project Description: Art Jam sessions organised for elderly individuals and people with disabilities, providing them an opportunity to explore painting and creative expression in a supportive environment. Impact The activity helps participants experience the joy of painting while improving coordination skills, creativity, and emotional wellbeing. It encourages social interaction and provides a meaningful and engaging activity for elderly and challenged individuals.
Disneyland Visit for Domestic Helpers WTS collaborated with the Disneyland Project and organized a recreational visit for domestic helpers in Hong Kong. The initiative provided an opportunity for domestic helpers to take a break from their routine work and enjoy a joyful experience at Disneyland. Total Participants 0 The visit promoted stress reduction, relaxation, and social interaction among domestic helpers, helping improve their emotional wellbeing and community connection.
Tai Po Fire Relief – Hong Kong (2025) Project Description: Cash donation support provided to assist communities affected by the Tai Po fire incident. The initiative focused on helping families and individuals who were impacted by the traumatic event. Impact The support contributed towards community recovery by helping people affected by the fire receive assistance during a difficult and traumatic period.
Cash Donation Programme Partner Organizations: Missionaries of Charity – Home of Love New Home Association Ltd Chee Sing Kuk Social Centre of the Humanity Love (2024) Project Description: Cash donations provided to charitable organizations supporting vulnerable communities including the homeless and elderly people in need. Impact The initiative supports charitable institutions working directly with disadvantaged individuals by helping provide essential services and care for the homeless and elderly population.
Basic Beautician Course for Ethnic Minority Women (2023) Project Description: Basic beautician training conducted for ethnic minority women in collaboration with Freeda’s Salon. The course provides hands-on practical training in beauty and personal care services. Women Benefitted: 6 ethnic minority women received professional training. Total Women Benefitted 0 The program equips women with employable skills and opens up opportunities for sustainable livelihoods, enabling them to become financially independent.
Environmental Education Programme (2022 – 2023) Project Description: Environmental education activities conducted in collaboration with the Environmental Protection Department. The initiative included beach cleaning drives at To Tau Wan and Lung Kwu Tan. Participants: More than 100 people participated in beach cleaning activities. Total Participants 10 The programme encouraged community participation with a particular focus on students from primary and secondary schools, helping them understand the importance of environmental protection and sustainability.
POCA Wan Ho Kan Primary School, Tung Chung (2022) Project Description: English Enhancement Programme conducted for Primary 5 and Primary 6 students in collaboration with Inspire2Aspire. The program focuses on strengthening students’ English language abilities through interactive learning activities and guided practice. Impact The program reinforces essential English communication skills including reading, listening, and speaking, helping students improve their confidence and academic performance.
COVID Relief Programme (2020 – 2021) Partner NGOs: Hands on Hong Kong Hong Kong Women Workers Association Culture Homes for the Elderly Church in Yau Ma Tei Project Description: Distribution of COVID relief supplies including masks, hand sanitizers, and care packages to support vulnerable communities during the pandemic. Relief Distributed: 22,000 masks, 300 hand sanitizers and 300 care packages. Masks Distributed 500 The initiative supported people in need through the distribution of essential COVID relief supplies while helping communities prevent the spread of the virus.
