In 2016, our team joined  a donation drive in Hong Kong. Helping those in need sparked something bigger.  Participating in that drive made our team realized that every step taken in the right direction makes a difference in creating a better society leading to lasting change and we unanimously decided to form our own organization to contribute to creating a better society.

Our team meetings resulted in zeroing in on the vision of supporting the education of girls coming from disadvantaged backgrounds in India while also supporting projects that have educational values in Hong Kong.

The reason why we focused on girl-child education in India is because girls constitute the majority of school dropouts particularly after secondary education. Also, our team believes that when you educate a girl, you educate a whole community, creating ripples effects for generations to come.

Since then, WTS has been supporting various projects in India and Hong Kong that align with our vision.

We envision a society where every girl in India coming from a disadvantaged background is able to receive education, break the circle of poverty and positively contribute to the society.
