We the Solution (WTS) is a non-profit registered society set up in Hong Kong in 2016 by an all-women team of nine members. WE in “We the Solution” stands for women’s education.
The principal mission of We The Solution is promoting girl-child education in India. Current statistics show that girls constitute the majority of school dropouts particularly from secondary education onwards. Statistics also show that the death of every sixth girl child in India is due to gender discrimination.
Education of girls is becoming increasingly important in today’s India as education provides them access to better opportunities, gives a chance to be economically independent and improves their standard of living thus allowing them to lead their lives with dignity.
Supporting the education of the girls not only helps in economic progress but also leads to a number of social benefits such as reduction of child and maternal mortality rates, improvement of child nutrition, health and lower fertility rates.
Our Commitment
To inspect and monitor each project we undertake
To support charities with a good track record or with individuals on referrals only
To follow the highest standards of integrity and transparency in managing and accounting of the funds raised
To work as volunteers to keep the overheads to a bare minimum
